About this Group
Dysautonomia Support Network’s Mission is to provide a Community that Empowers and Supports those impacted by dysautonomia to live their best lives.
Being diagnosed and living with dysautonomia can be a life-altering event. Individuals living with dysautonomia – and their loved ones – often require a variety of resources and support. DSN is a group of committed volunteers who are passionate about serving people with dysautonomia because we have been impacted by dysautonomia – as patients, family members, friends, or healthcare providers.
DSN was founded by an individual who is a dysautonomia patient, caregiver, and medical professional. Seeking information and community with others with a shared experience, she organized an initial meeting with a small group of individuals living with dysautonomia. What began as an informal meeting in a coffee shop has grown into a thriving 20,000-member-strong non-profit organization focused on bringing support, community, and hope to people worldwide impacted by dysautonomia.
Dysautonomia Support Network supports and empowers those with dysautonomia through education, resources, and community.
EDUCATION AND RESOURCES
Support the newly diagnosed through access to research-based information about dysautonomia and its impact on health and lifestyle and improve people’s quality of life by sharing insights and educational resources on lifestyle management.
COMMUNITY
Create connections that allow members to learn, share, and get involved through communities, special interest groups and events.
AWARENESS
Build awareness of dysautonomia within the broader community through our social media platforms, events, and volunteer network.
