About this Group
This is a small support group hosted by an occupational therapist working in the hand therapy setting. We meet for an hour to share community with others with EDS or HSD and get pointers on joint protection and adaptive equipment for the hands. Typically we complete coloring or another simple art project while we spend time together with built-up grips and other adaptations for decreased hand pain with activity participation.
We do not provide hand therapy during this support group; anyone with hypermobility and functional limitations due to hypermobility or their partners are welcome to join.
Meeting Schedule
