Alison Wesley is a Senior Occupational Therapist with the complex Musculoskeletal team at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead, Sydney, Australia. She has worked as a Paediatric Occupational Therapist for over 25 years as a clinician and educator. In the last 15 years she has specialised in working with children with Heritable Disorder of Connective Tissue including those with hEDS/HSD. She has a special interest in the management of hand function for children with symptomatic joint hypermobility which has led her to undertake a PhD looking at upper limb impairment and the effect on hand function for children and adolescents with a heritable disorder of connective tissue.
