Ann Rodiger, M.AmSAT is the founder and director of the Balance Arts Center and the Balance Arts Center Teacher Training Course. She has been teaching the Alexander Technique and movement for over 35 years in academic and private settings. She is skilled in Labanotation, Laban Movement Analysis, Bartenieff Fundamentals, Yoga, meditation, and various dance techniques. She maintains private practices in New York City, Berlin and Antwerp, Belgium. She has been on the faculty of Opera Summer programs in Tel Aviv, Antwerp, and Berlin. She is the creator and producer of the Freedom to Move, and co-creator of the Freedom to Act and Freedom to Make Music conferences. She has published a book, How To Sit: Your Body at Work. Carol Boggs and Ann have presented this work at the 2016, 2017 AmSAT ACGM, and led a day-long workshop for teachers at the Balance Arts Center.
