Big Bend teen hoping service dog will help her gain independencePosted April 12, 2016
Sydney Rohmann was 16 years old when she was diagnosed with Chiari malformation and had to have brain surgery.
Other diagnoses followed, which have left Rohmann dependent on other people. Now at 19, Rohmann is trying to gain back some of her independence with help from a service dog, Dutch.
On Saturday, April 16, Rohmann, a Mukwonago High School graduate, is hosting a fundraiser at Alpine Lanes to cover some of the expenses of a service dog, which can cost around $20,000.
