We are seeking people with EDS or HSD to participate in upcoming photo shoots—and help to tell our stories.
People of all ages, races, shapes, sizes, and genders with a confirmed EDS or HSD diagnosis are encouraged to submit headshot/profile photo and full-length photos. We also welcome EDS families for group sessions.
The Ehlers-Danlos Society will host portrait sessions in the Baltimore/Washington DC area from January 10–11, and in New York City from January 12–15. More sessions in other locations may be added at later dates. Sessions will last between 45 and 90 minutes.
Photos and videos from the sessions will be used on our website, social media, email communications, and printed media for public, medical, and educational awareness; membership, fundraising, and social action campaigns; promotional materials, conferences, special events, and apparel advertising.
All participants will receive Ehlers-Danlos Society merchandise as a token of our appreciation.
