Constance (Connie) O’Connor is a Paediatric Nurse Practitioner (NP) currently working with the Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) Program in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Connie’s practice in the EDS Clinic focuses on providing comprehensive patient and family care, program planning and implementation, the development of educational resources for patients/families and healthcare providers, and participation in research relevant to EDS.
Connie has previously worked with children and families living with chronic gastrointestinal and liver diseases. She developed the first NP-lead clinic for children with chronic viral hepatitis in Canada and contributed to multiple publications in the field of paediatric hepatology. Connie is cross-appointed to the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Toronto where she teaches, supports curriculum development and participates on various committees.
