Strengthen your hypermobile core – Free home movement program

The current global situation with COVID-19 is challenging for everyone in our community. It is so important that we keep moving on a daily basis even when we are in isolation.  The importance of maintaining our physical and mental health is vital, and this can be maintained through appropriate movement programs.

Hypermobility Movement Therapist, Jeannie Di Bon, has decided to gift her online hypermobility movement program for the next 3 months.  The program will now be free of charge to help keep our community moving, pain-free.  You just need a device and a little space at home for your mat.

Strengthen Your Hypermobile Core is Jeannie’s successful home Pilates-based movement program for people with hypermobility, hypermobility spectrum disorder (HSD), EDS, and chronic pain.  It is also currently being used as part of a research project with Dr. Russek of Clarkson University in the United States, and Jane Simmonds of UCL in the United Kingdom.  The program was written and designed by Jeannie, who also has hEDS, and all the exercises are modified for hypermobility.

The program will keep you moving safely at home with 5 x 30-minute sessions.  Jeannie explains every exercise in detail and the program follows Jeannie’s Integral Movement Method.  Her 6-point hypermobility method covers:

  • Breathing
  • Relaxation
  • Proprioception
  • Stability
  • Balance
  • Posture
