Adriana is a physical therapist specializing in pelvic floor therapy for women and men, connective tissue rehabilitation as well as general orthopedics.
She has been a Doctor in physical therapy for over 16 years and has been specializing in women’s health since graduating from Northwestern University, in Chicago in, 2007. For the past 6 years, Adriana specialized in connective tissue disorder and has been working with patients with Ehler-Danlos Syndrome/Hypermobility Syndrome.
As an active person herself, Adriana implements her “Mommy work outs” with most pf her patients, “Kegels are boring and people eventually stop doing them. I developed an exercise routine that is fun and make you feel good and fit. Pelvic floor muscle should automatically engage with abdominals muscles with all activities.”
During physical therapy sessions patient will learn about muscles recruitment and re-education among other things. The main objective is to help patients regain control over they bladder, bowel and musculoskeletal deficits.
