About these Clinics/Practices
At Healthy Consumer Physical Therapy In Lansing, everyone is treated as an individual. From the moment you reach out to us, we recognize and understand that you’re coming to us (likely in pain) with challenges and problems specific to your goals and life experiences. We work together with you to create a plan that will help you return to living your best life with EDS or HSD.
We combine gentle, hands-on techniques with soothing movement principles borrowed from Pilates & Kevin Muldowney for our patients with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Hypermobile Spectrum Disorders. We also offer several other modalities to help ongoing chronic pain.
Dr. Sovey collaborates with several other professionals in the field to ensure you build a team during your healing journey.
Dr. Sovey also has a great deal of personal experiencing helping other with central sensitization, which often accompanies hEDS.
More importantly, we ensure you feel HEARD and included in your recovery process. This is why Healthy Consumer Physical Therapy is Lansing’s top-rated physical therapy clinic. Most of our patients come to see us when traditional therapy has failed.
Instead of a “cookie-cutter” approach like most Physical Therapy clinics in Lansing, we appreciate and provide 1-on-1, hands-on care for every patient. If you’re frustrated with EDS or HSD, please see our website for more information.
