I have taken an interest in EDS since I had an employee diagnosed with the condition in 2010. I am hypermobile myself, so I can relate with some of the symptoms although I don’t experience them myself. I am trained and experienced in functional medicine, coaching as well as acupuncture.  People with difficult conditions seem to find their way into my practice and I love working with them to turn their lives around. Sometimes they tell me I am the first doctor to take them seriously. I believe health is a journey and ultimately the patient is responsible and in charge of their own health, and my job as a practitioner is to work collaboratively with the patient through listening, learning and educating to work to the optimal ends.
