My research interest and expertise is in Medical and Clinical Biochemistry, specifically Glycobiology. In respect to EDS I am very happy to contribute with novel methodology to characterize proteoglycans, typically affected in patients with spEDS, i.e. the disease subgroup named the “linkeropathies”. The technique is so far based on mass spectrometric analyses of urine samples of affected persons, their relatives and age-matched controls.
