About these Clinics/Practices
“My clients tend to be adults living with disabilities, chronic physical and mental health issues, or caring for someone with the same. They want to find connection and healing while living in a demanding rigid society. They have experienced trauma and/or spiritual/religious abuse and want to learn to use their brains and bodies to fully heal. They have a sense of humor and are open minded to using creative strategies within their life’s journey.
I am a licensed clinical social worker and worked for many years with those having to navigate both the medical and behavioral health system. I approach therapy knowing you are the expert in yourself. I use an eclectic approach focusing on your personal strengths and by incorporating your beliefs, creativity, lived experience, humor and place in society as a beginning to your healing. I am strongly committed to anti racism and social justice in all it’s forms.
I have lived experience with chronic illness and religious trauma as well and use EMDR and other trauma informed modalities to help my clients heal.”
