Foundational Concepts is a physical therapy clinic specializing in pelvic health in the Kansas City metro. We have been seeing patients with hypermobility since we opened in 2013. Sarah Dominguez and Jennifer Cumming have both been practicing pelvic health PT since 2001. We often are the first providers to educate our patients about hypermobility and help them to find other health care providers to round out their team. Due to the many manifestations of EDS and hypermobility on pelvic health, we are able to play an integral part in our patient’s health and well-being. We see patients in a one-on-one setting in private rooms for an hour each session. This allows us the time to build a rapport with our patients and give them the education that they need to take care of their bodies and to advocate for their health.
