PROS is a multidisciplinary team (PT/OT/Speech Therapy) that specializes in treating medically complex and neurological conditions. We work closely with TriHealth MDs in addressing the long term therapy needs of patients with EDS. Our primary role is to perform global assessments on relatively medically stable patients and promote EDS disease management through prescription of safe, individualized exercise programs that take into account injury history and dysautonomia/POTS (when present), education in joint protection techniques through posture and occupational assessment, provision or referral for equipment and bracing as appropriate, and education/resources to help manage EDS overall.  This includes collaboration with an EDS Navigator familiar with TriHealth and Cincinnati area resources/specialists.
