About these Clinics/Practices
I’m an online-only occupational therapist. I specialise in teaching supported self-management to those with complex long-term conditions like hypermobility disorders. All appointments are via Microsoft Teams with email and social media correspondence available. My aim is to help equip individuals with a health toolkit. This includes developing coping strategies and plans for symptoms management, using assistive and mobility aids and building a healthcare team. This toolkit enables individuals to manage a wide range of symptoms without the need for so many healthcare appointments. It hands back control to the individual.
Alongside being in independent OT I live with hypermobile ehlers danlos syndrome, PoTS and visual stress. My own personal experiences in the ‘patient’ role inform my practice as a therapist so I ‘get it’.
I intermittently host healthcare students from UK universities on placement. They bring their own individual skills and experiences while gaining an understanding of hypermobility disorders from me.
Appointments are available between 11am & 8pm (UK time), 7 days a week (including bank holidays). I work with clients world-wide excluding the USA and Canada.
