About these Clinics/Practices

Lan strives to make a difference in clients’ lives by helping them understand and manage their persistent pain, including the complex pain patterns often experienced by those with hypermobility conditions. His warm and collaborative approach, combined with a keen interest in psychology and technology, makes him an invaluable resource for clients navigating the challenges of chronic conditions and their journey to improved quality of life.

Growing up, Lan witnessed his mother struggle with aches and pains, which sparked his interest in understanding the complexity of persistent pain. Through his work in pain care, Lan has been privileged to be a part of diverse clients’ journeys as they courageously challenge themselves and their pain. He is particularly passionate about the evolution of pain care and the increasing role of psychology in treating, rather than just managing, chronic pain conditions and their associated symptoms.

Lan’s approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative – qualities that are essential when working with individuals managing complex, chronic conditions. Continually learning and fascinated by cutting-edge research in pain management, he believes that people are at the center of their own change. Lan sees his role as a supportive guide, using various therapeutic approaches to help clients enact change, whether through trauma-focused interventions or addressing the current stressors and emotional difficulties that often accompany chronic pain and physical challenges.
