About these Clinics/Practices

Laura believes treatment should focus on correcting dysfunctional movement patterns and addressing the root causes responsible for the symptoms. She uses the most current evidence through a combination of neuro-functional movement screening, electroacupuncture, manual therapy and customized exercise prescription.

In her current practice, she sees clients mainly for orthopedic conditions (neck instability, shoulder & rib subluxations, SIJ dysfunction) in addition to TMJ (jaw) and vestibular symptoms. She treats patients with POTS/Dysautonomia, Mast Cell Activation Syndrome and respiratory manifestations (shortness of breath). She was the lead Physiotherapist at Toronto General from 2019-2023, where she worked with patients with Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome in a clinical and research capacity. She has published in top journals  “JMIR Research Protocols”,  “Chronic Respiratory Disease SAGE Journal”, “Physical Therapy”, “Frontiers in Rehabilitation Sciences”, “Orphanet Journal Rare Diseases”.
