About these Clinics/Practices

Let’s give a new meaning to “Zebra Strong”!

Through Maggie’s lifelong training in ballet she fell in love with maintaining a healthy, active lifestyle. After her own experience as a patient in physical therapy she decided to pursuit a career as a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in athletes and dancers to help them get back to the sport they love stronger than ever.

She obtained a Bachelors degree in Dance Science from California State University, Long Beach. While obtaining her degree she was diagnosed with Hyper-mobility Ehlers Danlos Syndrome and POTS. Sparking a new passion to help others who are hyper mobile discover how exercising and training can improve not only physical symptoms but mental health as well.

She understands that those with hyper mobility move, progress and recover differently than the general public that standard exercise programs are designed for. Her experience working as a Physical Therapist Aide provided first hand experience with multiple patients who had various types of EDS in a rehabilitation setting. Learning how even a few days a week of resistance training can decrease pain and increase confidence during daily activities.

The programs offered are able to be designed with the considerations of:

  • Current physical abilities
  • Modifications (for POTS, injury and fatigue)
  • Chronic pain
  • Frequent Dislocations
  • Flare ups
  • Dietary Restrictions
  • Financial abilities
  • Gym, home, and office settings
  • Variation in energy levels

Programs also come with the option of virtual or in person private session to ensure you are able to execute the exercise properly. As well as a tailored meal plan that is financially achievable with consideration of allergies/foods that may cause symptoms to flare

If you are interested in taking the first step to a healthy active lifestyle you can contact Maggie either by text, phone or email!
