About these Clinics/Practices
Korthotics has been supplying a comprehensive range of orthotic, Physiotherapist and ambulatory aides to public & private hospitals and private patients since 2004.
Korthotics is the Australian distributor of the Dynamic Movement Orthotics (DMO) range as well as the Boston Spinal Brace System.
How can Dynamic Movement Orthotics help a person with EDS?
As all patients with EDS present with different problems associated with their condition all our orthotics are individually prescribed and measured for the needs of the patient. Our dynamic movement orthotics work using a combination of compression to influence sensory and proprioceptive feedback in conjunction with strategically placed reinforcement panels which guide the effected body parts into a better postural or functional position. The orthotics will also help to support any joints which are prone to dislocation. The orthotics are fully dynamic and do not contain any rigid materials, therefore are worn under clothing and are very discreet and comfortable to wear. There are many different types of orthotics we supply which range from full body suit to single shoulder orthotics.
