About these Clinics/Practices
Sarah received her Bachelor of Education Degrees from The University of Georgia in Athletic Training and Exercise and Sport Science. After working as an athletic trainer, she went on to graduate from Mercer University in 2017 with a Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree.
She returned to her hometown of Atlanta in 2022 by way of Auburn, AL where she was a Clinic Director of an Outpatient Physical Therapy Practice. She has built her specialization in treating those with connective tissue disorders, such as Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and Joint Hypermobility Syndrome, individuals in performing arts, patients with chronic pain syndromes and myofascial pain, and sports medicine and injury prevention. She is a Myopain Seminars Certified Dry Needling Practitioner, has provided guest lectures on the topic of Cupping/Myofascial Decompression, and is a STOTT Pilates Trained Rehabilitation Practitioner.
Her passion in clinical work is developing trusting, positive relationships with her clients and creating individual treatment plans that consider the body and mind holistically rather than solely on the affected body part or region. She combines her knowledge of Physical Therapy, Athletic Training, her studies from National Taiwan Sport University, Pilates, Myofascial Trigger Point Dry Needling, and personal experience with a connective tissue disorder to help her clients achieve their goals.
Sarah is an active member within the Local and National sections of the APTA, holding positions on APTA Georgia Governmental Action Committee and is an APTA Georgia Delegate. She is an active member of EDS ECHO. She has also served on the APTA Alabama Board of Directors, APTA Alabama Governmental Action Committee, and the APTA Alabama Executive Committee. She has been nationally recognized as a 2023 APTA Emerging Leader and has also received awards for her efforts with Legislative Action related to Direct Access in Alabama.
