Tesni Sunne is a licensed associate marriage and family therapist who sees residents of Minnesota (couples, teens, and adults) for telehealth therapy. Tesni has hEDS and works with clients to find areas of adaptation, meaning, and expansion within EDS and related conditions. A former scholar of disability, Tesni believes both that invalidation of complex disorders by Minnesota medical systems is real and that patients can nonetheless strengthen their empowerment within (and without) these systems. Specializing in helping couples with mixed abilities adjust to shifted roles, Tesni created the first group for couples in which one or more people have chronic illness/pain.
