Many EDS patients suffer from visual problems that require more specific care. I see a larger than average EDS population because they refer each other once they realize there are vision issues that are not always addressed by every eye care professional. the biggest problems I see are with convergence (using the two eyes together as a team) and tracking. People with convergence problems, read slower, lose their place while reading, can experience headaches with prolonged close work and work less efficiently with close work as on the computer or reading.
