Donate to Research For Our Futures
Accelerating groundbreaking research and access to clinical care for children, adults, and families affected by the Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) and hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD).
By donating to Research for our Futures, you will play a vital role in accelerating pioneering research, development of treatments and therapies, and ensuring access to care for people and families struggling with the complexities of EDS and HSD.
Where your donation goes
90% of every donation goes directly to funding research and Centers and Networks of Excellence.
Increasing care for patients through the Centers and Networks of Excellence program
We know that around the world, what is desperately needed is early diagnosis, validation, and effective multidisciplinary care.
We are committed to increasing the availability of clinical services for people living with the Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) and hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD), decreasing the diagnostic odyssey, and standardizing communication and care for those impacted by EDS and HSD. With your help, we have developed a growing program of Centers and Networks of Excellence for EDS and HSD around the globe that will assist thousands of people worldwide, and alleviate their pain and symptoms.
Thousands are without treatments or relief. You can support the research to change their lives.
There remain many unanswered questions about the complexities of EDS and HSD. These questions include the best ways to treat symptoms, how the conditions develop and progress over time, the genetic causes behind hypermobile EDS and hypermobility spectrum disorders, the prevalence of all types of EDS and HSD, and the association between EDS, HSD, and conditions such as postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome (POTS) and mast cell activation syndrome (MCAS).
Our aim is to award $1 million annually in research funding to researchers, revealing vital clues to beat EDS and HSD, and improve quality of life for all. Your donation will accelerate groundbreaking research and help us to bring about the first life-changing EDS and HSD treatments.
