About EDS ECHO Clinicians

The EDS ECHO Clinicians program is a free program for healthcare professionals worldwide, across all disciplines who want to improve their ability to care for people with EDS, HSD, and associated symptoms and conditions.

The programs consist of expert presentations and case-based interactive sessions delivered virtually via the Zoom platform. Each session is 1hr 30 minutes in length. 

Participants are encouraged to share their cases and questions in the sessions and are guided to further educational materials and support.

There are three EDS ECHO Clinicians programs:

The program runs over 10 sessions, and covers the following subjects:

  • Diagnosis of hEDS and HSD
  • Diagnosing rare types of EDS
  • Autonomic dysfunction
  • ENT and Maxillofacial concerns
  • Gastrointestinal concerns
  • Inflammation and mast cell issues
  • Musculoskeletal complications and pain
  • Neurological complications
  • Neurodevelopmental disorders
  • Orthopedic Medicine
  • Psychiatric disorders
  • Urogynaecology, pelvic floor, and pregnancy

Participants who are accepted into the program are asked to attend as much of the program as possible to get the most out of their place.

All participants are encouraged to share their cases and questions in the sessions and are guided to further educational material and support. CME/CEU/CE credits or a certificate of attendance are available to healthcare professionals at no charge. Credits are awarded at 1 per 60 minutes of live session activity.
