Occupational Therapist (USA)

Emily Rich is an occupational therapist practicing in a medical outpatient setting, serving adolescents and adults with various diagnoses. She has special interests in treating individuals with Ehlers Danlos syndromes and forms of dysautonomia. She is currently studying in a PhD program at Texas Woman’s University where she previously received a Master of Occupational Therapy degree. Emily’s interest in dysautonomia was sparked as a student at Mayo Clinic where she helped develop the first clinical practice standard for POTS. She has lectured on EDS and Dysautonomia for medical professionals and community members and has published several manuscripts on these diagnoses. Her current research is primarily focused on POTS in rehabilitation.
