The Global Learning Conference 2024
Thank you for an incredible Global Learning Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA. “The feeling of community, unity, connection, joy walking among my fellow Zebras. Watching the speakers take the time to listen and HEAR the Zebras speaking with them. I brought several of my books with me for autographs...I should have asked! THE STAFF! You are ALL so amazing and kind. You all SAW ME! I loved that! Thank you all for your knowledge, time, kindness and support!”

“I prepare to attend this like I am training for the Olympics (except in reverse, with rest, hydration, pacing, planning, movement breaks, and still, it is a lot for me. Thanks to the breaks you plan, I can do it in a hybrid format. I am starting now to recover and rest up for next year! Cannot wait!”

“Where to begin! I have 17 pages of notes I need to review and follow up. I have a gazillion tabs open on my laptop for specific speakers and/or concepts. The main feeling is that I can take charge of my health and that there are options. I am eager to learn more about fascia, craniosacral therapy, pelvic vascular issues, exergaming, reduction of MCAS, and so so so much more. I feel like I have leveled up AND have hope for less pain and fatigue in my future.”

“100% connected all my symptoms from the past 35 years and gave me resources to take to my doctor for official diagnosis!”

“Depth of expertise - and people's generosity in sharing it. Event leaders and organizers are very committed and organized. I felt understood and treated with respect. Liked the high quality info all in one place. Loved having the virtual option.”

“I loved the hybrid option- on days I was flaring too terribly I could take my morning slow and tune in virtually as I made my way to the conference. I loved that I had opportunity to chat and meet people with EDS and Co and make friends with people from all over the world. I loved that there were breaks, especially movement breaks from members of the community.”

“I appreciate that the Society is always on the lookout for and tries to include new speakers with each conference, just like with this one too.”
2024 Attendee 16
“We learned that our family is NOT alone in the EDS journey, which is invaluable. Also, we gained knowledge about topics that we were curious, confused, or unaware of as the conference rolled on. THANK YOU!”
