Choose between a 5k, 10k or Half Marathon distance –  there is an option for everyone making it the perfect opportunity for a fun morning out running with friends and family!  Each Mile will be accurately marked out and we have plenty of helpers to keep you quite literally on track and encourage you on your way to that chequered flag finish.  Located only 6 miles from Birmingham City Centre.

Looking for a PB course, or wanting to try out a new distance – this is the race for you. Come and run a chip-timed 5k, 10k or Half Marathon around the wide, flat paths of Victoria Park. As with all RunThrough races each mile will be accurately marked out and there will be plenty of our wonderful marshals out around the course to keep you going all the way to the finish!

Amsterdam Marathon – October 20, 2024

Join over 18,500 marathon runners who take in the major sites of one of Europe’s most beautiful cities, Amsterdam. The flat and fast course is packed with scenery as you run through Vondelpark & Rijksmuseum, following the Amsel River, you will be sure to see many canals and windmills but whatever you do, do not stop at a pancake house until the end of the race!

The Amsterdam half marathon is a perfect destination marathon for charity runners looking for a challenge in a city vibrant with culture.

Run Alton Towers – November 16-17, 2024

Come and join us at the UK’s biggest Theme Park, Alton Towers, on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th November 2024 for the 5k, 10k & Half Marathon event around the park. Starting and finishing within Alton Towers Theme Park this is an event for the entire family. Open to all abilities, you can take on a chip timed 5k, 10k or Half Marathon to earn yourself a unique themed medal before enjoying the incredible rides at the park. *FREE ride access after the race is included in your entry!

Santa in the City – December 4-5, 2024

Starting at 7.00 pm by the Tate Modern, run the 4.0km festive fun run. You will then run along the South Bank, continue over Southwark Bridge, pass the Tower of London and Tower Bridge and then head through the City to the finish, where you started from, in front of the Tate Modern, completing a truly iconic route You thought it couldn’t get better! Once again, this is a truly iconic route! No previous experience is needed for a 5k like this. The route is relatively flat and you can either run, jog or walk. Bring all the family along. This event will definitely get you feeling festive! All entries come with a Santa suit!

Get ready to bounce your way through The World’s BIGGEST and most EPIC Inflatable 5K Obstacle Course! 

The first event of the year is taking place at Wolverhampton (Staffordshire) on Sat 22nd, June 2024, and it’s going to be BIGGER, BOUNCIER, and BETTER than ever before! 

The excitement has been pumped up to the MAX, you’ll be jumping, sliding, and bouncing your way to the finish line like never before. 

So grab your friends, lace up your trainers, and get ready for the ultimate inflatable adventure! 

The start line sits on the front courtyard of Hampton Court Palace, and your finishing line will be found in the stunning Palace Gardens.   The Palace Half course is very flat but oh so picturesque. The half marathon starts and finishes inside historical Hampton Court Palace. This epic event allows you not only to run a half marathon for charity, but it also gives you entry into one of the UK’s best historical attractions.   The race is very proud of its famous medals for finishers. Run like Henry VIII and make your own history at this fantastic event. 

The Paris Half Marathon is one of the best overseas half marathons for UK runners to take part in!  Race Information  Parisians join forces with other french nationals and 4 thousand runners from other countries to make this half marathon one of the best international events. It is no wonder over 40 thousand runners participate in this event year on year.   The World famous fashion capital ups the ante when it comes to running for charity. A vibrant atmosphere as you run through historical sites of eastern Paris, all whilst enjoying music and entertainment that is guaranteed to be performed along the whole course!  Are you ready to push your boundaries to the maximum in the city of love and lights?  All runners will have to provide a medical certificate to be able to run, this can be obtained from you GP and a template for this is on the official website.

The London Landmarks Half Marathon is a closed road, central London run and is the only half marathon to go through both the City of London and City of Westminster. 

The event is not your average half marathon! From cultural landmarks and heritage to the city’s quirky and hidden secrets, runner get to explore the capital on a route like no other! 

The 2023 event started on Pall Mall, finished by Downing Street and had fabulous views of London’s most iconic landmarks including Big Ben, St Paul’s Cathedral, Nelson’s Column, the Gherkin, the Shard, the Tower of London and the London Eye. 

Paris Marathon – April 13, 2025

The Schneider Electric Marathon de Paris is now one of the biggest marathons in the world and perfectly combines a personal challenge with the chance to discover one of the world’s greatest cities.  Race day will see you pound the pavements of the French capital’s most famous avenues and plazas.  Starting at the foot of the Arc de Triomphe, and finishing with views of Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower to guide you home. Every year, this unique and spectacular setting attracts more and more entrants. There are now more than 23,000 runners from abroad, making up 40% of the field.  All runners will have to provide a medical certificate to be able to run, this can be obtained from you GP and a template for this is on the official website. 

Shakespeare Half/Marathon– April 27, 2025

This flat and fast route, follows 1 lap for the half marathon and 2 laps for the marathon. The majority of the route follows closed roads around the town, with the remainder on the Stratford Greenway footpath, a hard compact footpath, ideal for pb racing!  The route heads from the town centre, past the racecourse, into Luddington & Welford-on-Avon before joining the Stratford Greenway back into Stratford-upon-Avon. The half marathon will head into the Recreation Ground from there. The marathon will complete a 2nd, extended loop, which also heads through Long Marston, before returning to the Recreation Ground for the finish. 

Manchester Marathon– April 27, 2025

The adidas Manchester Marathon, the UK’s second largest marathon and one of Europe’s largest is an iconic event drawing participants from all over the world to the vibrant streets of Greater Manchester.  We pride ourselves in welcoming all to take on our 26.2 mile challenge, from some superb elite runners, to those who thought completing a marathon would never be possible. Many regular runners find this the ideal event to get a personal best time, whilst everybody finds the incredible Mancunian support throughout the course unforgettable.  2024 saw a record-breaking 32,000 people sign up to take on the challenge, after final entries sold out months before. 2025 is set to be the biggest year yet as the event returns on Sunday 27th April. 

Colchester Zoo Stampede 10K – May 18, 2025

Come and run at Colchester Zoo, home to over 160 species and set in 60 acres of parkland and lakes!  The Zoo is proudly listed in the top 2 zoos in the UK and listed as the 11th best zoo around the world as part of the TripAdvisor Travellers’ Choice Attractions. 

Run Aintree (5K/10K/Half) – December 14, 2025

We are excited to be returning to the world-famous Aintree Racecourse, best known for annually holding the world-famous Grand National steeplechase! 

Each Mile will be accurately marked out and we have plenty of helpers to keep you quite literally on track and encourage you on your way to that chequered flag finish. Included in your entry fee is a themed medal, water and post-race goodies. Come and enjoy the day with us; we hope to see you there! 

The race involves laps around the circuit, the course is flat and quick. There will be 1 lap for the 5k, 2 laps for the 10k and 4 laps for the Half Marathon. 

Marathons & Fun Runs Terms and Conditions:

  • Supporters must raise at least the minimum amount to compete in the event. If the minimum is not met, they will be withdrawn from the event. 
  • If the supporter withdraws from the event past the registration deadline or is withdrawn due to minimum sponsorship not being met, the supporter will be liable to pay the full registration fee, including any amount the society has paid towards their registration fee. 
  • T-shirts will be provided for the supporter to wear during their event. If they fail to meet the minimum sponsorship, they will be liable to reimburse the society for the T-shirt, as well as any amount the society has paid towards their registration fee. 

Online donations will be processed through either the Tiltify or JustGiving platform and are subject to their respective Terms of Service. Tax receipts may be issued by the Donor Advised Fund indicated in the individual platform’s Terms.
