Ian Dowley

Ian graduated from the School of Physiotherapy at Curtin University in 1993. He started working in the Burns Unit and Hand Therapy Clinic at Royal Perth Hospital in 1997, and has been passionate about the wrist and hand since then. By 2000 he was the Senior Physiotherapist in the Fremantle Hospital Hand Therapy Clinic.

Ian established his private practice Flex Physiotherapy at St John of God Murdoch in 2005, offering a comprehensive hand therapy and splinting service. He is a regular guest lecturer on hand-related subjects for the School of Physiotherapy at the University of Notre Dame, and runs Wrist and Hand professional development courses nationally for the Australian Physiotherapy Association.
