Inge De Wandele, PT, MT, PhD, is working as a physiotherapist at the Centre for Medical Genetics in Ghent University Hospital. Her task is to provide individualized advice regarding the physiotherapy and manual therapy treatment of patients with generalized hypermobility. Together with Lies Rombaut, she currently develops information for patients with EDS-HT and their caregivers. Inge studied physiotherapy at KHBO Bruges, and specialized in sports physiotherapy and manual therapy at Ghent University. After graduating, she worked on her doctoral thesis regarding dysautonomia in the hypermobility type of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome at the department of Rehabilitation Sciences and Physiotherapy of Ghent University. Together with Lies Rombaut, she is also involved in research regarding the musculoskeletal complications of EDS.
