Kay Julier, PhD

In 2011, Kay left a 12-year career in the pharmaceutical industry, where she led teams in clinical development, to join the non-profit health sector in the UK. After briefly working in roles aimed at involving more patients in research design and oversight, she led a breast cancer research tissue bank for a charity. She became Managing Director of Ehlers-Danlos Support UK (EDS UK) in 2016. Kay has a PhD in biochemistry.
