Lisa Jamieson received her pharmacy degree from the University of Nottingham in 1994 and became a registered pharmacist 1995. She was awarded an MSc in clinical pharmacy with distinction in 2003 and an MSc in nutritional medicine with distinction in 2017.
Lisa has over 20 years’ NHS experience working in community pharmacy, general practice, primary care pharmacy management, and planned care clinical commissioning roles. She is a Consultant Pharmacist working with the pharmaceutical industry, local authority public health services, and higher education institutions.
As a patient with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (hEDS), Lisa has developed a special interest in using nutrition to manage her own hEDS-related symptoms. She is now combining her learning as a patient, with her healthcare qualifications and experience, in her work as a Research Fellow in nutrition research at the Wingate Institute of Neurogastroenterology, Barts & The London School of Medicine & Dentistry, Queen Mary University of London.
