Lorna Ryan, BA (Hons), MA, DipION, mBANT, rCNHC
Lorna Ryan is an experienced UK based Registered Clinical Nutritionist/Nutritional Therapy & Lifestyle Medicine Practitioner and holds a master’s degree in Design research for Disability. She specialises in supporting adults with Hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD) and Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) with a particular interests in gastrointestinal, autonomic involvement and the comorbidities of EDS/HSD.
Lorna’s clinical interest is directed from personal experiences of living with hEDs. Her patient perspective brings empathy and deep understanding to her work as she offers an evidence based & integrative approach in her EDS specialist private practice, working with clients internationally and within a transdisciplinary approach.
Lorna is chair of The International Consortium on Ehlers-Danlos Syndromes and Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders, Diet & Nutrition working group, focussing on delivering expert consensus and resources for patients and clinicians. She is committed to scientific research and education, presenting for several non-profit organisations internationally on nutrition and lifestyle for HSD & EDS.
