Marco Castori (MD) obtained his PhD degree with a clinical research project on phenotype variability in Ehlers-Danlos syndromes at the Division of Medical Genetics of the San Camillo-Forlanini Hospital in Rome. He is the Laboratory and Clinical Head of the Division of Medical Genetics at the IRCCS Casa Sollievo della Sofferenza Hospital in San Giovanni Rotondo (Foggia, Italy). Dr. Castoriâ€™s fields of interest include hereditary connective tissue and skin disorders, foetal pathology, clinical dysmorphology and intellectual disability. Ehlers-Danlos syndromes is his leading research topic. He is (co)author of more than one hundred and thirty publications in international peer-reviewed journals and of fourteen chapters in edited books. He is member of the advisory board of several Italian patientsâ€™ associations.
