My grandmother struggled with many cEDS related symptoms from debilitating arthritis causing deformity, severe bruising and hematomas, extreme skin involvement, loose/unstable joints, organ prolapse, and on and on. With four generations of diagnosed women in my family, she amazed me with her strength, positivity, and loving spirit. I never heard her complain even when she was bed-ridden and completely dependent on us for her care. She was absolutely the best person I have ever known.
