The Ehlers-Danlos Society Research Inner Circle

The Ehlers-Danlos Society Research Inner Circle is a group of passionate and devoted supporters that have an interest in advancing research in Ehlers-Danlos syndromes (EDS) and hypermobility spectrum disorders (HSD). This unique initiative aims to provide a direct pathway for researchers to engage with donors keen on supporting diverse research efforts related to EDS and HSD.

Through quarterly webinars, researchers and their teams will have the opportunity to present their research proposals directly to donors, who will have the opportunity to invest in and impact future discoveries.

Process for Researchers

Researchers seeking funding for their studies begin by submitting a Letter of Intent. Following this, we will guide you through the application process and equip you for a webinar presentation where you can directly showcase your research to attending stakeholders. Should your study resonate with these stakeholders and align with their funding interests, we will notify you promptly. Researchers are encouraged to apply for both small and large projects. There is no minimum or maximum funding limit.

We highly value all applicants and researchers’ privacy and intellectual property rights. Please be assured that your submitted research materials will be treated with the utmost confidentiality and respect for your intellectual property rights, and all involved will have signed Non-Disclosure Agreements.

Please take note of the scheduled rounds. There will be four opportunities annually where you will have the chance to seek funding for your research.

Please note that only studies or projects conducted by charitable, university, or healthcare organizations are allowed to participate in this program. If you have any questions about eligibility, please email [email protected].
