
Ronny Kershenovich, MD

Born and raised in Mexico City, Dr. Kershenovich completed his medical school at the Universidad Anahuac del Norte in 1996. In the year 2000 he began his 3-year residency in Medical Genetics at Mexico´s General Hospital, Dr. Eduardo Liceaga. He is certified by the Mexican Board of Genetics and is a member of the American College of Medical Genetics and Genomics as well as other international and national associations. Soon after he started a Cytogenetics laboratory named Citogen, S.C. where he worked as the medical director for 14 years.
Dr. Kershenovich is the Deputy Chief of Medical Research at the National Institute of Genomic Medicina (Instituto Nacional de Medicina Genómica). Regarding his medical practice, he has been a Staff Member of the prestigious Centro Medico ABC, Santa Fe Campus in Mexico City since 2008. He is a devout professor of medical genetics for the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores Monterrey and the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico for both medical students and Pediatricians in training. He has special interest in connective tissue disorders, dysmorphology and genomic medicine. He is a collaborator in FDNA´s Face2Gene deep phenotyping software. Dr. Kershenovich is married and has 2 children.
