Our son Shane passed away suddenly on June 10, 2013 at the age of 12. He was diagnosed at the age of 4. He had constant bruising and stitches on his delicate skin. Besides the bruises and scars, he had no signs of Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. His cause of death is rupture of his aorta due to complications of EDS. He is missed by all every single day!
