I had my first heart attack in 2003, but with minor damage and no explanation as to why I had it.
In 2015, my second heart attack was discovered by a dissection in one of my vessels. This would open up a study in Halifax Nova Scotia, with many doctors, and with the results of vascular Ehlers-Danlos syndrome (vEDS), formally EDS Type 4.
With that, my medical plan is stable. There are however constant battles with pain, bleeding, and setbacks as a struggle to live a normal life.
I enjoy life and have learned to adapt, so I can enjoy the things I do.
