East TN Ehlers-Danlos Support Group is a support group for people with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome living in and/or familiar with the East TN region. We welcome anyone with or looking for diagnoses in the “cluster,” including POTS and other forms of dysautonomia, Mast Cell Activation Disorder/Syndrome, Chiari, and so on. This group is intended as a support outlet, an exchange of resources and information, and a place to connect with new friends who understand what it’s like to live with these chronic illnesses.
We have an active Facebook group which can be found by clicking here.
Monthly in-person group meetings are held in Knoxville. For a current list of meeting dates or more information, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
The Nashville Area EDS and hypermobility focused, chronic pain support group serves those affected personally, diagnosed or not, and those affected by caring for another in some way, and welcomes anyone seeking support for invisible illness or chronic pain.
Quarterly Educational Meetings are held on Tuesday afternoons from 4:30-5:30pm and feature a speaker intent on bringing awareness and education to the community. Members/participants typically socialize afterward (up to an hour on site).
Informal Monthly Support Meetings are held the first Saturday of the month from 2:30-3:30pm with the goal of providing encouragement and support in a safe space. Come share a triumph or a struggle, come with questions, come as you are, but please join us!
