Susan Ward

Ms Susan Ward was the first member of the multidisciplinary team in Peadiatric Rheumatology since its inception in the Irish Health Service in 2006. Since that time, she has worked to advance the role of Physiotherapy within the service. She has a particular interest in children and teenagers with joint hypermobility related disorders and has worked both locally and nationally to advance the understanding of the spectrum of these disorders among both patients, parents and professionals in Ireland. Susan recently received a National Children’s Research Centre Clinical Fellowship to conduct further research in this area.
