About this Group
The Ehlers-Danlos Support Group of Silicon Valley started with 5 people in their living room and now has over 460 members. Since Covid they have not had any in person meetings. They provide support, a facebook page and list of local MDs friendly and knowledgeable to the EDS community. One of the leaders has spoken at the Physical Therapy Combined Sections Meeting on upper cervical instability and is a contributing author to the book “Disjointed” and to the UCI paper in Frontiers in Medicine. Her daughter, Emily, spoke at the EDS conference last year and both recorded a segment on the recent ECHO on Emergency care. They both have therapy businesses that offer care to the Hypermobility population, a PT business and an OT business.
Meeting Schedule
Daily interaction on Facebook group site. Zoom meetings will be held intermittently.
