About this Group
WAEDS is open to current adult residents of Washington State with a formal diagnosis of a type of hypermobility spectrum disorder (HSD) or Ehlers Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and any of their local support people (parents of children with the condition are welcomed). We are only active on Facebook but will share resources via email.
The goal of this group is to spread medical information and promote awareness activities. We maintain a preferred provider List of local doctors and other providers with experience treating people with EDS and HSD.
Meeting Schedule
WAEDS promotes and endorses many smaller local support groups that meet regularly in-person in different parts of WA State. We maintain a list of these smaller groups, and we advertise both their in-person didactic meetings and their in-person support gatherings.
