About these Clinics/Practices

I am a chiropractor that treats primarily hEDS and EDS patients. Having hEDS myself, I wanted to find ways to help patients with similar experiences increase their function, decrease rate of injury, and find stability so that they can do the things they love for as long as possible. I obtained my bachelors degree in the Art of Science that was individualized to combine biology pre-med, exercise science, and sports psychology in an effort to understand the connection between mental, physical, and social health and the effects each has on total health of individuals. Since symptoms, especially with hEDS and EDS patients, are so multifaceted, I firmly believe in coordinating with all types of providers to help patients get the care they need. It is a goal of mine to be involved with other providers to help build a community to refer patients to for issues that are outside my scope of practice. In my office I use a protocol for EDS patients that I have created that combines SOT, Thompson drop, activator, myofascial release, as well as a set and hold method. The protocol was formed specifically to address the myofascial concerns of EDS and not over mobilize the joints. This protocol also pays particular attention to the nervous system to avoid dysregulation and help with the dysautonomic symptoms and low vagal tone so many patients experience.
