I am passionate about empowering people to take an active role in their health through education, personalized care, and forming a strong therapeutic relationship.
My path to Physical Therapy began as a young mountain athlete in Yosemite who was passionate about rock climbing, nordic skiing, and endurance sports. Over time, I fell in love with the Sierra Nevada and consider it a privilege to now serve the community of Truckee alongside the highly-skilled team at Tahoe Forest Hospital.

I built a strong foundation as a PTA in sports and orthopedics in Mammoth Lakes, CA, where I was also involved in group wellness classes and developed several online outreach programs. These included Yoga for Pelvic Health and Swimmer’s Dryland Training. I supported adaptive sports as Development Coordinator for Disabled Sports Eastern Sierra (DSES) while also competing in triathlons and half-ironman open water swims.

A lifelong learner, I have pursued continuing education for Hypermobility Spectrum Disorders (HSD), Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), and Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). I hold a Pelvic Floor Level 1 certification from Herman and Wallace and am trained in Graded Motor Imagery for chronic pain.
This training allows me to better support complex Physical Therapy “frequent flyers”, helping them achieve improved quality of life and reduce potential for setbacks during rehabilitation.

Whether a high-level mountain athlete, a new mother returning to sport, or person with new diagnosis of HSD or EDS, I am prepared to treat a broad spectrum of patients with empathy and skill. My motto is “Adapt and Conquer!”
