Doula
Birth and Lactation Support

About these Clinics/Practices

Hello! I’m Kelsey, a bilingual (English/Spanish) birth doula, homeschooling mother of four, and DONA-trained birth worker serving families throughout the Memphis area and providing virtual support to families within the United States.

As someone who personally lives with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, dysautonomia, and MCAS, I understand firsthand the unique challenges chronic illness can bring to pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum recovery. While every person’s experience is different, I am passionate about supporting families navigating complex medical conditions and helping them be informed, heard, and empowered throughout their birth journey.

My own birth experiences include a vaginal birth, miscarriage, emergency preterm cesarean birth with a prolonged NICU stay, repeat cesarean birth, and a VBA2C. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the many ways birth can unfold and the importance of compassionate, individualized support.

I provide:

• Two prenatal visits

• Birth planning and education for you and your partner

• Continuous labor and birth support in home, hospital, or zoom

• Comfort measures

• Support during cesarean births (as hospital policies allow)

• Breastfeeding and newborn feeding support

• Postpartum planning and recovery guidance

• Phone, text, and email support throughout your journey

I am committed to creating a calm, supportive space where you can make informed decisions and feel confident advocating for your needs. Whether you are planning an unmedicated birth, epidural birth, induction, cesarean birth, or VBAC, I would be honored to walk alongside you.

Spanish-speaking families are welcome. Entiendo lo importante que es sentirse escuchada y comprendida durante una experiencia tan importante.

I would love to connect and learn more about your story.
