About these Clinics/Practices
Rebecca (she/her) is a Registered Psychotherapist with a special interest in supporting individuals living with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS) and Mast Cell Activation Syndrome (MCAS). She recognizes the unique challenges of navigating complex chronic health conditions and the profound impact they can have on emotional well-being, daily functioning, and a sense of safety in one’s body.
Drawing from a polyvagal-informed, trauma-informed framework, Rebecca understands that ongoing physiological symptoms and medical uncertainty can contribute to a persistent neuroception of danger within the nervous system. Her approach acknowledges the interconnected relationship between physical health, nervous system regulation, and psychological well-being.
Rebecca integrates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy alongside evidence-based psychotherapeutic approaches to help clients process difficult experiences, build resilience, and cultivate greater nervous system flexibility. She works collaboratively with clients to support healing from trauma, manage the emotional impacts of chronic illness, and foster a renewed sense of safety, connection, and self-trust.
Her practice provides a compassionate and affirming space for individuals seeking support with the complex realities of living with EDS, MCAS, and other conditions that can place ongoing demands on the nervous system.
