Zona Maude Kane, known by her preferred name Sally, died March 1, 1998, on her 90th birthday of complications of hEDS and leukemia. Grandma Sally was known for her nonstop crocheting as a method to keep her hands nimble. She had joint instability that hampered her from a young age and suffered from gastroparesis and MCAS in her later years. She was a terrible cook but had a big heart and is sorely missed.
