Stella Dentakos

Psychologist (Canada)

Stella Dentakos is a Clinical and Health Psychologist (Supervised Practice) in the Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Clinic and Connective Tissue Disorders Program at The Hospital for Sick Children, in Toronto Canada.

Dr. Dentakos obtained her master’s degree and Ph.D. at York University, in the Clinical Developmental Psychology program focused on both research and clinical training in children, youth, and emerging adults. She is currently completing her registration with the College of Psychologists of Ontario.

Dr. Dentakos has been involved in various qualitative and quantitative research projects and activities including themes related to emerging adulthood, metacognition and mental effort, as well as health-related experiences and outcomes in pediatric populations. Her most recent research focuses on the impact of a repressive coping style on psychological and functional ability outcomes in pediatric chronic pain patients.
