Susan is from Toronto, Canada and the parent of a daughter with hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. Susan works part-time in the family business, Canerector Ltd. and is president of the Canerector Foundation, a Canadian private foundation which was founded in 2019. She has a BA in Economics and an MBA from York University.  Susan has held various volunteer positions over the years, previous board positions were on Habitat for Humanity Toronto, Havergal College and Trinity College School.

Susan’s goal is to improve the care for patients afflicted with this poorly understood condition in Canada, the US and around the world.
